ABUNDANCE 2010 Choreography festival in Sweden

The tri-annual ABUNDANCE dance festival will take place in Karlstad and the Värmland region in Sweden on June 15 – 17, 2010. Our aim is to gather choreographers, dancers, critics and philosophers from many countries, and offer a platform for exchange, feedback and critique of new work as well as being a forum for creating new knowledge about dance and choreography. The festival will offer opportunities to see, talk about and participate in performances and workshops.

ABUNDANCE 2010 will coincide with the international congress World Summit, which will be situated in Karlstad in June 2010, - on Media for Children and Youth and the general theme of dance, body and media is at the centre of ABUNDANCE dance festival.
